All our staff are experienced in handling high value items such as antique furniture, china, glass and works of art. We pride ourselves on the care taken in packing and moving clients’ from their properties, whether it’s from a cottage or large country house, or even a castle in Scotland. Many of our clients have used our services on more than one occasion, recommending Arterial Moving to friends and family, resulting in the majority of our work coming by way of recommendation. After contacting us regarding a potential removal, we will arrange a mutually convenient time to come and view the goods to be packed and moved. At this point we will  discuss your individual requirements and subsequently  formulate a removal plan, followed by a quotation of our charges.

We have modern and secure temperature controlled warehouses in Carterton that meet all our insurance companies’ requirements – monitored alarms, smoke systems and CCTV. A detailed inventory is made whether a client’s goods are to be stored long or short term and a copy is sent to the client. As an additional service, we can provide a photo inventory, especially if goods are to be stored long term.  Some clients have found this to be very helpful should they decide to remove selected items from store. We can also provide insurance cover for goods in store. An additional charge to the weekly storage rate is made for this, based on  the declared value of the goods stored.

We run a regular collection and delivery service to London from the Cotswold and Thames Valley area. All collections and deliveries are scheduled and for private clients we offer an early morning delivery from 7am onwards. All vehicles  have a crew of 2. This is a ‘part load’ service collecting one day and  delivering to London the next. Prices quoted include goods in transit insurance. It would be necessary to transport large or high value consignments as a ‘special run’ at a specifically quoted price. We can also make collections and deliveries to all the major London Auction Houses, following their required booking in / out procedure, as part of the service.
